Tetrodotoxin Rapid test kit

Tetrodotoxin (TTX), an amino panhydroquinazoline compound with the molecular formula C11H17N3O8, is a potent non-protein neurotoxin that acts mainly by highly selective blocking of voltage-gated sodium channels. After ingestion, it is rapidly absorbed in the intestine, enters the bloodstream, and enters the whole body through the circulatory system. Cranial nerve dysfunction, limb nerve paralysis, loss of movement ability, severe cases of respiratory failure and cardiovascular failure. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has set maximum residue limits for tetrodotoxin in shellfish tissues

Product Introduction: Tetrodotoxin (TTX) is an amino perhydroquinazoline compound with the molecular formula C11H17N3O8. It is a potent non-protein neurotoxin, which mainly acts by highly selective blocking of voltage-gated sodium channels. After ingestion, it is rapidly absorbed by the intestinal tract, enters the bloodstream and reaches the whole body through the circulatory system, causing vomiting, diarrhea, and decreased blood pressure. Neurological dysfunction, limb paralysis, loss of motor ability, severe cases can lead to respiratory failure and cardiovascular failure. The European Union Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has set maximum residue limits for tetrodotoxin in shellfish tissues
Scope of application: It is suitable for rapid qualitative detection of tetrodotoxin in fish, shrimp, shellfish and other tissues.
Detection limit: 44 μg/kg.
